Program Leadership Transition
A new generation of surgical educators will soon assume the mantle of leadership in the General Surgery Residency Program. Drs. Adnan Alseidi, Linda Reilly and Kenzo Hirose discuss the careful preparation and planning for the transition. Dr. Linda Reilly, a master surgical educator, has ably led the program for two decades. Dr. Kenzo Hirose, currently Associate Program Director, has been appointed as the next Program Director. Dr. Hirose, who completed his general surgery residency at UCSF, brings vision, dynamism and a wealth of experience in surgical education that will inform his leadership of this program, one of the most most prestigious in the nation.
